Before RTJ, my soccer development felt slow and I had no real sense of direction—training was repetitive and not focused on areas that would actually benefit me. Similarly, my walk with Jesus lacked depth; while I knew a fair amount, my relationship with Him wasn’t a priority, and my values were different. Since joining RTJ,
I’ve improved drastically as a player with structured, position-specific training and discipleship from my mentor, who’s also helped me with film, emails, and insight into the pro game. The Bible studies have deepened my relationship with God, allowed me to learn more about Him, and brought greater peace and purpose to my daily life through faith.
I used to go alone to train, but it wasn’t as effective as what RTJ has provided me. Learning small details and how to play the game has separated me from others—I can now better recognize situations to attack space or the goal.
My walk with Jesus has deepened, my mentor has helped me understand the Bible and feel closer to Jesus. RTJ has also brought an amazing community which has also deeply impacted my walk with Jesus. It’s helped me recognize flaws, even ones I didn’t know, and I've felt support through difficult times being reminded of how blessed I already am. The faith time at the end has helped me grow and challenge my understanding of Christianity.
I felt my soccer development was going well but knew I could do more, and training was the only way to improve. My walk with Jesus was inconsistent and confusing—I would wander, leading to sin. I wanted a relationship with Him, and training with my mentor helped me understand and truly achieve that relationship.
RTJ improved my quickness and decision-making on the field. It also helped me stay faithful and open up about my struggles, with my mentor guiding me in ways I can’t even explain. RTJ will help anyone develop, both in soccer and faith. If you want a relationship with God and to progress in soccer, RTJ is the way!
I felt behind on my walk with Jesus and didn’t know where I was in life. Before RTJ, I was in a dark space because I was playing at a lower level than I wanted to. RTJ gave me a space to grow in my relationship with God while playing the sport I love. It’s more than training; it’s a community that challenges me to lead, stay grounded, and compete with purpose.
RTJ helped me stay centered on and off the field and grow in faith through prayer, Bible studies, and real conversations. It reminded me who I play for and helped me stay consistent and encouraged. RTJ isn’t just a program—it’s a family where you can be real, grow in faith, and go all in on your sport. It shows you how to be an athlete and follow Jesus with purpose.
My soccer development was very shaky and I didn’t know how to train properly. I felt distant in my walk with Jesus. RTJ has impacted me in many ways—I’ve become a whole different athlete and got rid of bad tendencies like being lazy. It has helped me hold myself accountable and has shown me I have a community there for me. We love the RTJ way
